NOAD Schema 3.8 and Workbook 7.8 -- 6 Month Notice

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance maritime domain awareness, we continue to improve handling of essential data contained within Notices of Arrival and Departure (NOAD). Tentatively, on Wednesday, 16 March 2022, a new schema (3.8) and workbook (7.8) will be released. This new schema will tentatively have new Fuel Type fields added, the Crew/Passenger Gender fields will be changed to a picklist, and the Vessel field "NEW_BUILD_JONES_ACT" will be renamed to "NEW_BUILD” in the schema.

As part of this release, the 3.6 schema and the 7.6 and 7.6.1 workbooks will be retired and their support removed.

Please note that while every effort is being made to ensure all information is accurate as of this posting, there exists the possibility for additional changes as needed or at the direction of the program office. Any such changes or additions will be made available as soon as they are provided to or identified by the NOAD team.
