Port Clearance

  • Does the NVMC clear or authorize vessels to enter a Port?
  • No.  The NVMC is a submission processing center and cannot act on behalf of the local USCG Command with regard to permissions to enter the port.


  • To whom should questions regarding port entry and clearance be directed to?
  • Questions regarding port entry and clearance should be directed to the cognizant local Captain of the Port.
